Pakistan State Oil (PSO), the country's largest oil marketing company, for donating funds to support the treatment of 20 children suffering from Congenital Heart Disease (CHD).
During the signing ceremony, Mr. Babar Chaudhary, Chairman of PSO CSR Trust, presented a cheque to Mr. Abdul Qadir Memon, President of PBS for AKUH. The ceremony was attended by senior officials from both organisations.
Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) is a birth defect in the structure of the heart. Pakistan has one of the highest rates of CHD in the world with over 60,000 children born with this life-threatening condition every year.
We deeply appreciate our partnership with PSO and hope that together we can transform many more lives by providing life-saving healthcare.
