Mr. Abdul Qadir Memon is a Founder and Chief Advisor of A. Qadir & Company (Taxation and Corporate Laws Consultants), which was established in 1980. Currently he is serving as Patron Pakistan Tax Bar Association (PTBA), Director State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, Director Institute of Financial Markets of Pakistan and Member Advisory Committees: Federal Tax Ombudsman, Federation of Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Federal Board of Revenue’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. He is a Fellow of Institute of Taxation and Management of Pakistan and he is a commerce graduation from University of Karachi. Mr. Memon is also a Certified Director under the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Code of Corporate Governance, 2012. He has also serrved as President of PTBA, President Karachi Tax Bar Association, President Memon Professional Forum, National President of Junior Chamber International- Pakistan , SECP Nominee Director on the Board of Pakistan Stock Exchange [Formerly KSE], Chairman, National Clearing Company of Pakistan, Director Institute of Corporate Governance; Member Tax/Revenue Advisory Council, Revenue Division, Ministry of Finance, Pakistan; Member Competion Commission of Pakistan Consultative Group;. He is contributing his time and energy as President Executive Committee of the Patients’ Behbud Society for AKUH, Trustee Memon Health and Education Foundation and Health and Nutrition Development Society.
